Eurasian Business Alliance Joined Discussion on Key Risks in Construction and Development at LCCCI

On June 10, representatives of the Eurasian Business Alliance took part in a meeting of the Urban Planning and Development Committee held at the Leningrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCCI).

The meeting focused on the risks faced by investors, developers, and business owners when implementing construction projects. Experts discussed practical tools for avoiding common mistakes at every stage of the process — from selecting a land plot or real estate asset to commissioning a completed facility.

Particular attention was given to assessing the investment attractiveness of land plots, minimizing project and tax risks, ensuring fire safety, and maintaining quality control over electrical installation works.

Among the speakers were Andrey Shevchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Urban Planning and Development Committee; Radmila Radzivil, Deputy Chair of the Committee on Business Regulation and Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights; Lyudmila Zueva, CEO of Aurora Expert; Alexey Rogov, CEO of BaltKadastr; and Igor Gusev, CEO of Deline.

A significant part of the meeting was devoted to the analysis of real-life business cases. Participants examined situations involving the acquisition of properties that did not meet project requirements, unexpected costs arising after the purchase of land plots, and the consequences of underestimating fire safety measures.

As a result of the discussion, participants received practical recommendations on project budgeting and scheduling, interaction with regulatory authorities, and making informed investment decisions.

The event brought together investors, developers, construction companies, business owners, and manufacturing executives interested in the successful implementation of sustainable and efficient development projects.
