The First Meeting of the Alliance Business Club’s Autumn Session Held in Moscow

On September 18, 2025, the first meeting of the Autumn Session of the Eurasian Business Alliance Business Club was held in Moscow. The event took place in a hybrid format, bringing together participants both in person and online.

The main focus of the meeting was the development of the Alliance’s Medical Cluster — a strategic initiative uniting the efforts of business, healthcare, and international partnerships.

Svetlana Smorodina delivered a keynote presentation, “Medical Tourism in Cross-Border Cooperation.” She emphasized that medical tourism is not merely an additional service, but a powerful driver of cross-border collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the implementation of best practices.

Special attention was paid to the Alliance’s international partnerships:
  • China: strong and long-standing partnerships have been established, enabling not only discussions on the supply of equipment and materials but also the development of long-term medical exchange programs.
  • India: participants highlighted the potential to draw on India’s well-established experience in medical tourism, supported at both governmental and diplomatic levels.

A significant part of the discussion was devoted to the current challenges facing the medical business today:
  • logistical difficulties in the delivery of equipment and materials;
  • service-related issues and the need for quality standardization;
  • the necessity of adapting swiftly to changing conditions in the global market.

Participants emphasized that systematic work within the framework of the Medical Cluster will make it possible to overcome these barriers and create a sustainable ecosystem for international cooperation.
