President of the Business Alliance at the Eurasian Economic Forum

"Eurasian Business Alliance" at the second Eurasian Economic Forum with the participation of the heads of the EAEU states.

On May 24-25, 2023, the 2nd Eurasian Economic Forum was already held in Moscow. Recall that the 1st EAEU Forum was held in Bishkek in 2022. The plenary session was attended by the leaders of the EAEU countries — Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. The Republic of Armenia was represented by Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.
The first speaker of the forum was Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, who spoke about the main strategic directions of the Eurasian Economic Union. First of all, it is the strengthening of technological sovereignty, the achievement of full independence in this area. "This is one of the priorities for today," the President stressed. Work on a full-fledged transition to national currencies in foreign trade settlements with friendly countries. Support for business and entrepreneurs of the participating countries, elimination of trade and regulatory barriers, development of security and tourism.
Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, shared that the EAEU began "in the kitchen" of Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to Alexander Grigoryevich, the Eurasian Economic Union has enormous prospects on a par with such organizations as the SCO or BRICS. The President of Belarus boldly announced the possibility of creating an alternative to the UN, led by Russia, as the locomotive of this process. Lukashenko also spoke about the prospects and achievements in the development of high-tech processes together with the Russian Federation.
The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, continued the meeting with his speech. He began by saying that Kazakhstan is ready to actively help Russia and participate in the development of the EAEU. Tokayev spoke about the development of new logistics in connection with the sanctions. Kasym Kemelevich noted the importance of developing connectivity infrastructure between all EAEU member states. He noted effective cooperation with the key political and economic partner of the Union – the People's Republic of China. He also said that Kazakhstan will create free trade zones with fundamentally important destinations, Indonesia and the UAE. Separately, he drew attention to the phenomenon of integration of the two states of Russia and Belarus.
The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Nurgozhoyevich Zhaparov, began his speech and immediately noted that Kyrgyzstan's constant priority is to strengthen the role of the Eurasian Economic Commission in terms of removing barriers in the internal market of the EAEU. The President proposed to ensure freedom of movement and equal rights to employment, education, advanced training, healthcare and sports among citizens of the EAEU member states.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Mher Grigoryan, spoke about the need to improve the quality of education in the territory of the EAEU member states and create more favorable conditions for professionals and innovators among young people.
Chinese President Xi Jinping joined the plenary session of the Forum, expressed support for the development of the EAEU and indicated his country's readiness to strengthen cooperation with the EAEU states.
The forum ended with a speech by the Chairman of the EEC Board, Mikhail Vladimirovich Myasnikovich, he spoke about the key factors of development, these are investment activities, the creation of a union–wide program of import substitution, the formation of a global transport and logistics system under the unified management of the EAEU.

The prospects for the development of the EAEU are huge, global changes are waiting for us, where Russia will occupy a leading position.
