The round table was organized by the Eurasian Center for Partnership Finance, the International Assembly of Islamic Business (IAIB) and the Ufa University of Science and Technology.
The discussion focused on the development of Islamic banking and partnership finance, professional education, workforce competencies and practical mechanisms for expanding the sector in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Participants highlighted the growing interest among businesses in partnership finance and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between entrepreneurs, experts, universities and public institutions.
Following the round table, the organizers held a working meeting at the Center for the Management of the Republic of Bashkortostan, where they discussed further opportunities for cooperation and the future development of Islamic finance in the region.
President of the Eurasian Business Alliance Andrey Morozov commented:
"Today was a very productive day. Together with our partners — the International Assembly of Islamic Business (IAIB) and the Ufa University of Science and Technology — we held a round table on Islamic finance in the Republic of Bashkortostan, followed by a highly productive meeting at the Center for the Management of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The main conclusion of the day is that Islamic banking and partnership finance are in strong demand in Bashkortostan. There are already successful practical cases, and both the expert community and entrepreneurs have shown considerable interest. Everyone is ready to work together, and this is a very positive signal."
The round table confirmed the strong and growing interest in developing partnership finance mechanisms and became another important step toward strengthening cooperation between the business community, experts and academic institutions. The Eurasian Business Alliance will continue to promote professional dialogue and support initiatives aimed at advancing Islamic finance and partnership finance in Russia.
