On July 27-28, 2023, the second Russia-Africa Summit was held in St. Petersburg.
49 countries took part in the summit. 17 African States were represented at the highest level. African countries are interested in cooperation with Russia, discussed with Russian President Vladimir Putin the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, called for the restoration of the grain deal, discussed the assistance of the Russian Federation in the development of industrial energy in Africa, discussed the development of tourism between our states. The summit was attended by Sergey Solovyov, General Director of the Eurasian Business Alliance trading House.
The Director General of the trading house held a number of meetings with the heads of trade missions of several African countries. As a result of the meetings, agreements on cooperation were reached, which will allow Russian entrepreneurs to develop business in a new direction.
